Cannot download Adobe Air Runtime

When I go to this site: Adobe - Adobe AIR there is a Download Now button.

When I hover over that button, the associated URL shows as:  www.adobe.com (I expected the URL to be some address that would automatically start downloading the newest version of Adobe Air).

When I click the Download Now button, the adobe.com web page is displayed.

I tried three browsers (Firefox, Chrome, IE) ... same problem.

I tried two different computers (both running Windows 7 64-bit, with all Windows Updates installed except those just released on Nov 10, 2015) ... same problem.

I am able to download and install the newest version of Adobe Flash Player (which is a different URL than the URL for Adobe AIR which I mentioned in my first sentence above), but I cannot download Adobe AIR.

I think a clue to this problem is the fact that a generic URL (www.adobe.com) is associated with the Adobe AIR Download Now button.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks kglad.

On the page that you referenced, I am not quite sure which installer to download.

I am not a developer ... I just have a few Adobe products (Photoshop Elements, Premier) and want to keep AIR updated on my own PC.

I am thinking that (on the page you referenced) I need to select the item under Stand-alone Adobe AIR Runtime installer that is labeled "Download installer file"??

I curious, were you able to reproduce the symptoms I described ... i.e., the URL associated with the Download Now button on get Adobe AIR page is set to www.adobe.com ???

Thanks!
