cant find where to install previous versions of illustrator

Hi,

I am currently using Illustrator CC 2017 but need to go back to Illustrator 10.0.3 because my third party plug in wont work with the newer version.

I cant see where to go to do this. Can anyone send me step by step instructions?

Are you on Mac or Windows?

A Google search of Cutting Master 3 and Illustrator brings up lots of results. So it's evident that many people are having trouble with this plug-in in recent versions of Illustrator.

Some people seem to claim success with Cloud versions of Illustrator.

The Cloud only goes back to CS6 (version 16.0)

Illustrator 10 is very old (released 2001) and pre-dates even the Creative Suite. It's a PowerPC app which will not run on today's Macs and may not run on current versions of Windows.

If you don't have Illustrator on disk and a computer with a compatible operating system, you're probably not going to be able to install version 10 at all.

Hello John,

thank you for your response. I am trying to use a plug in called Cutting Master 3 which AI should recognise but each time I install the plug in, it doesn’t show up in AI at all.

I spent days trying to get the plug in to show up but it never does - the manual for CM3 says it supports AI 10.0.3 but it might be compatible with later versions perhaps?

open you cc desktop app>click apps>click the ai arrow>click other versions
