CC expired and now CS6 stuck in CC subscription renewal loop

Hi All,

I had an education version of CC while I was teaching, but now it has expired, it has killed my CS6. I don't want to pay for the renewal fees for it; I'm happy with CS6 at this stage.

However, CS6 is in a renewal subscription loop for CC. I can't get to the registration page to plug in the serial number for CS6. I can't seem to find a way to deactivate CC, as it is tied to a renewal thing and won't let me deactivate it so I might be able to get to the CS6 bit of it. I wonder if the CC subscription manager has taken over the process for activating CS6, and I'm therefore stuck reinstalling my entire machine without CC. It seems a bit drastic as a fix. I'm hoping someone has some other solutions.

Thanks Ned. I reinstalled CS6 and it's working fine. My original version is from 2012 and I'm not sure about whether I can update it (with the latest version before they stopped updating it), or if that will give me the same CC problem. Any ideas on that?
