Question

Changing the language without the CC-installer?

Hello

I'm using a corporate Adobe CC licence in the place where I'm currently working. The IT departement has deployed CC 2015 as a clean install, but this corporate licence does not include the CC installer application. So i'm unable to switch the language there and reinstall the individual apps (the official way as proposed by adobe).

Is there any other way to (manually) switch the language to English?

Photoshop seems to be possible with a workaround. But I foremost need it for Premiere and After Effects.

Any ideas?

Much obliged.

Hi,

You can update the package that the IT department created and then add the CC desktop application.

Please see Creative Cloud Help | Creating or editing packages

Thank you Sheena. I will forward this to my IT dep, with hopes they get around to it quickly.

But then I would have to reinstall all my apps plugins, ae scripts etc. - is there really no way to just switch the UI-language alone?

Yes I understand. But that is exactly my point. The package we have been supplied with from IT does not include the CC desktop app (as they are trying to prevent users from working on different untested versions.)

I was only wondering if there was any other way to switch languages - but that does not seem to be the case (?).

In that case I hope IT can provide me with a new English package.

There isn't any other way. I am sorry.
