Cleaner Tool Warning: Failed to remove file, folder.

New Here ,
May 22, 2015 May 22, 2015

I recently stopped my CC subscription because I aldready have CS6 and I didn't feel like I needen both.  But I've been getting the "We have trouble verifying your membership" warning when I open my CS6 apps, so customer support told me to uninstall everything, and run the Cleaner Tool. But the Cleaner Tool log is 2/3 full of "warning: failed to remove", aand the FAQ about the Cleaner tool told me to contact customer support if I got any entries that indicated failure, but I can't access the live chat about installation issues because I only get basic support, because I have Creative Suit and not CC, and it has been more than 90 days since I registedet the product. Ugh.

So what do I do now? It is probably the "remnants" of CC that are giving me the warnings about "We have trouble verifying your membership, 0 days remaining", but it seems like the Cleaner Tool was not able to remove everything.

Not sure y they advised to clean all apps hmm, this is an license files conflict issue .

No need to uninstall Apps.

You can simply SLCache contents and rename SLStore folder .

or you can simply delete opm.db file and check or try Signing in to Creative Cloud with different Adobe ID.

If the above steps did not work , then only it is essential to perform complete uninstallation and reinstallation process.

As you had already attempted to uninstall and run Cleaner tool, we might need to check with the issue regarding uninstallation .

Are you using Windows computer or Mac ?
