Compatibility Mac/Windows

Are Adobe Creative projects/folders compatible in Mac and Windows at the same time? My colleague works with Windows and I was considering buying Mac. However, we are not sure whether this could give compatibility problems in the future while working with the same files. Thanks in advance!

the adobe file types (eg, animate, premiere, photoshop etc) are compatible between mac and win without any conversion being needed.
