Could you uninstall Creative Cloud on one of two computers that had it installed, and THEN install on a third?

As far as I know, Adobe only allows you to have the Creative Cloud installed on up to two computers. However, is there a way to deactivate/uninstall the cloud from one of your computers and then install it on a third? If so how would one do this? I'm not really looking to having to upgrade or purchase another subscription just to be able to install the Creative Cloud on a third computer.

Shortly: I would like to basically replace one of the computers that uses the Creative Cloud with another, so I'd still only have 2 computers with the Creative Cloud.

If anybody could let me know whether or not is just as simple as uninstalling Adobe and then being able to reinstall it on another computer, or if there's some deactivation process so Adobe knows I'm not using three computers all with Creative Cloud installed.

Thanks!

Installation and activation are two distinctly different steps.

In your case, no need to uninstall. Just deactivate via Help > Sign Out in any Cloud app - or even remotely via Adobe.com.

Learn how to activate and deactivate Creative Cloud apps

You can install Cloud software on as many computers as you like. You can have it installed on 5 or 10 computers if you like. It’s the same process every time regardless of Mac or PC: sign into your Adobe account using your Adobe ID, download and install the Cloud desktop app then download the apps.

Of those installs, only two can be activated for use at any one time. In this way, you can toggle activations between computers. Help > Sign Out, Help > Sign In.

Thank you all for the reply! I wasn't aware you could have it installed on more than 2 machines and activate/deactivate depending on one's needs, so I appreciate the explanations.

Right.   So if you already have CC installed on 2 machines and you install it on a 3rd, CC will automatically de-activate from the other 2 machines until you sign-in on one of them.

As John said, you can have CC installed on 10 machines but only 2 can be activated.
