Creative Cloud app not allowing access to Photoshop

Why should I have to log into Adobe, using my Creative Cloud app, just to use Photoshop?  It kept telling me I had successfully logged off, when I was actually just trying to log on.  It then locked my access and told me to try again later.  The same email address and password allowed me to log onto Adobe to make this post.  What's going on?  Shouldn't it be easy to access Photoshop from a computer I have used on a regular bases?

You can sign in using any Adobe application and Creative Cloud gets authorised on that computer until you withdraw the authorisation.

Did you try to login several times in a row? Even when I type my password wrong once in a while, I do not get locked out.

You can check your status in any application via help:

If it tells you that you can sign out, you are signed in!

You have to login. That’s how it checks you still have a valid subscription. Don’t  sign out unless you are finishing with this computer (permanently, or to use a different one).

Or is the problem that you are asked to sign in even though you don’t sign out?
