CREATIVE CLOUD APP... SPACE NEEDED?

I am looking to get the CREATIVE CLOUD fro teacher. Where I think you get 20 apps. The main ones I need is Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and a few more.

I am using a MAC.

QUESTION 1:

When you get the creative cloud, do all 20 app download to my computer? Asking because the new base MAC only have a 256GB hard drive and I am afraid it's not a lot of space for operating system and all the apps + all my design files?

QUESTION 2:

If I need to download the app I want to use in my computer, is there a list somewhere where I can see the size of each app?

I KNOW I can get a bigger HD and that is what I am trying to figure out, when my needs are going to be.

Thanks.

you install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

you don't see the installation sizes, but you can get an idea from  - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html

and if you have a non-os drive, you can install the cc apps onto it

No, only the ones you choose to download.

If you put the CC on an external HD... Does that mean that when using lets say Photoshop or Illustrator that it will be VERY SLOW? I always thought that the apps had to be on the internal HD to run fast...

Confused... You said to put the CC on a non-os drive, which I think means a external HD? right?

Then you say...  "using an external drive is possible but is a problem"

I guess the best I can do is to make sure to get a 512GB+ hard drive in what ever new MAC I purchase?

most desktops can add additional internal hard drives.  that would ideal for installing the cc appos.

the cc desktop app itself has to be installed on the os drive.
