a couple of months ago I was looking into creative cloud as a way for me to be able to use adobe products for cheap for my high school yearbook class. Where I needed photoshop, indesign, and lightroom. I signed up in the summer, in the hopes of learning these new products. When I arrived on the first day of school I realized that I didn’t need to purchase creative cloud, and that all the products I needed were already loaded onto the site we use to design the website. I went to try, and cancel the subscription only to read that there was a $43 calcellation fee. I know $43 doesn’t seem like a lot, but for a high school student who is only working a part time job, this is allot of money. I know that I agreeded to the contract, but I am simply un able to pay this monthly rate, or the cancellation fee when I simply don’t need the products anymore. If the cancellation fee, and termination of the subscription can not be waved, I was wondering how the cancellation fee worked, does it increase over time, or does it decrease, and would it be better to try and find the money now.

Hi,
Annual subscription (paid monthly)
If you cancel within 14 days of your order, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel after 14 days, your service will continue until the end of that month’s billing period, and you’ll be charged an early termination fee of 50% of your remaining contract obligation. For example, if you have 5 months of your contract left when you cancel and you pay $20/month, you’d pay 50% of the $100 remaining balance = $50 early termination fee.
Annual subscription (prepaid)
If you cancel within 14 days of your order, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel after 14 days, your payment is non-refundable and your service will continue until the end of your contracted term.
