Creative Cloud desktop app crashes

New Here ,
Sep 08, 2014 Sep 08, 2014

Hi,

I've downloaded and installed the Creative Cloud desktop app, but it crashed within 10 seconds of opening. I've tried deleting all the files and re-installing, plus signing in and out.

I have a Macbook Pro with OS X v 10.7.5

I'm having the same problem but i can't solve it with these steps and there is no error message for me, so i don't even know what the problem is!

I tried everything i could: deleting all the files and re-installing, buying another plan (now i have two Premiere month-to-month- plan, none of them work and the telephone support don't let me cancel one of them), praying.......

If I don't solve this thing fast I'm going to TRY to cancel my CC signure, since i already tried and failed thanks to the telephone lady, and turn my back to adobe

I didn't find the OPM.db file because there is no OPM.db file in my computer and the mentioned location doesn't exist either....

How do I proceed?

Hi stefano aloise

To rename OPM.db in PC

Go to C:\Users\{USERNAME}\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

1BigBelly,

Is your issue resolved or it still persists?

Thanks,

Atul Saini

Hi stefano aloise,

It seems that "Appdata" folder is hidden, we simply have to un-hide this folder.

Solution 1:

Please try :Show hidden files - Windows Help

Solution 2:

  1. Click on start button
  2. Click on run
  3. Type : "%localappdata%"
  4. Then, click go to Adobe> OOBE.

It should work.

Thanks,

Atul Saini
