Creative Cloud Desktop App Stuck On Email Verification Prompt

New Here ,
Jan 06, 2018 Jan 06, 2018

My Creative Cloud app is stuck on the email verification page and says that I must verify my email to continue. The problem is, I used a temporary email to log on to the app and now that email is lost forever. I would be happy to make another account with another email it's just that no matter what i do i cannot get past this prompt on the app. i have tried deleting and re-installing the app but it is always stuck on the same prompt that I have no way of surpassing or getting out of.

Delete the entire contents of the OOBE folder:

1) Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app from the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

2) Browse to the following location based on your operating system.

    A) Mac OS: /Users/<user folder>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE

Note: The \Users\<user folder>\Library\ is hidden by default after 10.7. google enable access to hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later for instructions on accessing it or check https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unknown-server-error-launching-cc.html

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app after signing-in with a correct email address, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 3 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

I followed these instructions correctly, but when I reinstalled the cc app the exact same thing happened that was happening at the start.

actually, first check your account https://account.adobe.com to verify you have a subscription and, more importantly, to verify the email used (https://account.adobe.com/notifications or click communications after checking your main account page):

then sign out of the cc desktop app and sign back in (https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/activate-deactivate-products.html) using the same id used to check your account.  then , after a few minutes, check your preferred email address shown in you communication preferences > account.  check spam folder, too.
