"Creative Cloud Desktop Failed to Install." is the only error message I have received on all of my attempts (7 to date) to install Creative Cloud on Windows 7. Have tried restarting before installation to ensure no other progs are running still receive the same error message.

Srevlich please try the following steps:

    1. Locate the C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE directory and rename it to OOBE_OLD
    2. Download and reinstall the Creative Cloud Application from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

srevlich:  Success.  I have successfully installed the Creative Cloud Desktop in Windows 7.  It was a combination of using Jeff A Wright's suggestion of renaming OOBE to OOBE_OLD, and then downloaded and ran the Creative Cloud Clean up utility, followed the prompts, and when done, rebooted, downloaded Creative Cloud Desktop and in it went.  Hope it works for you

I have also done it! Followed Jeff's advice and it installed first time. Many thanks Jeff for your help.

Hi srevlich:  I am having exactly the same problem, and find it very annoying as well.  Have you found a solution yet?
