Question

Creative Cloud Files Missing or Damaged

My Creative Cloud applications seem to be working fine, but the Creative Cloud app is not. I do not have access to my Typeset files.

I'm getting the attached message:

"Adobe Creative Cloud is needed to resolve this problem. However, it is missing or damaged. Please download and install a new copy of the Creative Cloud from 'http://www.adobe.com/go/adobecreativecloudapp'.

I clicked on the link & tried a fresh install... it went through the initialisation process, but the problem has remained.

I have tried clicking on the 'Uninstall Adobe Creative Cloud' app, but that tells me that there are still creative cloud apps running... even when all my apps are not running, it still gives the same error message.

Help!

Regards,

Charles

The solutions I have seen before require a full reinstall

Sign out of your account... Uninstall... run the Cleaner...

-for non-Cloud programs you need to DE-activate before uninstalling

-http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html (and uninstall)

-using the cleaner after uninstalling and before reinstalling is often needed

-Restart your computer... Sign in to your account... Reinstall

-and 5 steps in reply #1 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2144928

Thanks John, sounds time-consuming -- I'll try that & let you know how I go.
