Creative Cloud Installation problems due to migration to new computer

Hi, I have a new computer, a Mac Mini M1 (macOS Monterey 12.6.2) I got the message that Creative Cloud is damaged. I have tried the "repair" option with no success. I have tried to install Creative Cloud again but then I get error code 1.
I migrated Lightroom Classic and Photoshop from my Macbook Pro 2015 (Monterey 12.6.1), which I now realize was a big mistake.
I have tried unistalling Creative Cloud with no success.
Would the easiest way to solve this be to reset the Mac Mini to factory setting and start all over again? Or is that a bad idea?

it wouldn't be easy to reset your mac, but it would be the best (ie, most thorough) solution:

1. reset you mac mini

2. uninstall everying cc from your older computer*

3. migrate from your older computer (now without cc) to your new mini

4. properly install cc on your new mini**

*
uninstall every cc app (leave preferences - they'll be migrated ok) per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-messaging

yes, the cc removal/migration step is only needed if there important things on your older computer that you do want to migrate.

if you don't want anything from older computer, definitely reset your mac mini.  in that situation, you only need to

1. reset the mini

2. properly install adobe cc on your mini by installing the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription

if you have trouble downloading the cc desktop app or you see an error message when trying to install, make sure you have a compatible os (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html), and use the alternative download links at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

Thank you very much for the detailed answer!

I think I will start all over again. I suppose I could also just reset and start my Mini without migrating anything at all from the my Macbook?

Then I could at least use my old computer if I mess something up again... Unfortunately my skills with computers are not so good.

If there is an Apple Store near you, make an appointment to take the computers in and get help setting up the mini.

I already did a factory reset, and I have now installed Creative Cloud, Lightroom and Photoshop. It seems to be ok now.

Thank you for your advice and Happy New Year!
