Creative Cloud - Installing and/or updating some programs gets stuck

This started happening recently. Some programs stopped updating. They get stuck at the same place (some at 36%, some at a different place).  I tried uninstalling those programs and now they won't even install getting stuck after downloading a part of the file. Just updated Photoshop and the next update which is XD also got stuck.

Sorry, you are facing problems, Ancalimonungol.  Can you please review the installation logs to determine why the install is getting stuck?  You can find information on how to locate and interpret the log files at  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-download-install-log-files.html.

Disabling Bitdefender fixed the problem and I could install and update all the programs. I hope it gets fixed so that I don't need to disable Bitdefender everytime an update is released.

Thanks for the update, Ancalimonungo!  Was your installation of Bitdefender already up to date, or did you need to disable its use during the download and update process?


Bitdefender is always updated automatically. I had to disable Bitdefender before updating several programs and installing some. Otherwise they would simply stop installing after a percentage reached a certain amount forcing me to cancel the update/installation.
