Question

Creative Cloud Photography Plan (1 year)

Hi All,

I'm new to this scenario so please bare with me.

My question revolves round a continuing issue form Adobe regards the above headed entry..    I recently received an email as follows:

"Courtesy Reminder..  Your preferred payment method is expiring soon.  Please edit your payment details to avoid a lapse in service.."

I already received one of these emails recently and, after much pain, managed to get through to Adobe to have my details updated again!

Checking of my email records shows an invoice from said company for my order number and customer number in my name for the amount of £9.98p on the 13th of March 2018 which my bank account confirms.   Further checking of my Adobe account shows that my next payment due is the 13th of May 2018.  So why do we keep getting those reminders?

Therefore, I would appreciate explanation why these emails keep coming as I was under the assumption that once you signed up for this plan and that Adobe then automatically deducted the subscription from your named account for the year.  Or am I missing something here??

I understood it to be automatic. Let’s see if anyone else can shed a light.

Go to http://www.adobe.com and click on My Account. Yes Adobe will keep charging so it does suggest they still have your old card details.

Thanks MVP,

Went to my account and clicked on the edit process, (not very informative I feel..), Adobe thanked me for my payment.   So does this now mean that they, (Adobe), shall now continue to bill me for subsequent months now?, or I is it an endless loop of into my account to pay..

addendum..  I think the penny maybe has dropped.  The paperwork I have is an invoice for that month, (13th, April 2018).  Is this how it works.. they invoice you and I just go into my Adobe account an pay?

Briefly, but can you explain how the Creative Photography Plan works.  I'm thinking it was a direct debit set up, but it's not, is it?   Is it like a pay as you go mobile contract?   You will have to excuse my ignorance but I am an individual who works on defined set ups,

Thanks, once again..

The annual plan is £9.98 per month, with a promise to pay for the whole year. So there will be a payment each month. (There is an option to pay for the whole year).

This message usually means that you used a credit card to pay, and it will soon reach its expiry date. You don't have to contact Adobe to change the card, just use your account details on http://www.adobe.com/

Appreciate the really quick response and forgive the stupidity but I assumed that signing up to the subscription plan Adobe would just keep deducting the monies until I stated otherwise?   Yes I used a credit card to initially pay and it has recently been replaced by a new card of which Adobe has those details which show up on the recent payment.

When you state "just use your account details on the website supplied", how do I do this as I have found so far that Adobe is not the most user friendly when it comes to customer service.

Thank you again..
