This error typically occurs by the time the update is 50%. I've searched up solutions to this error and all of them have told me to uninstall then reinstall creative cloud. Now here comes the issue, I can't uninstall creative cloud. When I try to uninstall creative cloud it prompts me that I need to remove the items relevant to the program, I have illustrator and photoshop installed currently. So when I try to uninstall either of the programs the uninstaller is launched through creative cloud, which it attempts to do the update resulting in it failing yet again. So I don't even know if this fix is going to work but I can't try it. If anyone can help with either the error or uninstalling it would be appreciated. Thank you.
Lggilmore you can find details on how to resolve Error Code 1 at "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app. If you are receiving a message that you are unable to install the Creative Cloud desktop app then please make sure to follow Step 2 and download and run the CC Cleaner Tool. If you are just running the uninstaller then you will not resolve the error.
