Creative Cloud Update Issue

I'm trying to download the free trial for InDesign, but I have to update Creative Cloud first. The problem is, Creative Cloud just isn't updating. I've had this loading bar for days now

I figured it was just taking a while, so I left my computer open and running overnight (after changing my settings so it wouldn't shut down or go into sleep mode, and leaving it plugged in) and the next morning, it was still on 0%. I've tried restarting the program, restarting my computer, everything. So, what should I do?

Nickrec129017 I am sorry you are facing difficulties updating the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.  What version of Windows are you installing the Creative Cloud desktop app on?

I would recommend completing the steps listed in "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app ​to allow the update to apply.  If you have any questions regarding the steps listed in the document you are welcome to update this discussion.
