Hi,

I am new to Creative cloud, and having version 4.3.0.256 released on 09/26/2017. Please let me know if it is Creative Cloud 2017 or 2018.

If it is creative cloud 2017, what is the version for creative cloud 2018 and how I can update my self to 2018.

If possible, please let me know if I can check all these details by myself.

Appreciate for a quick response

Correct answer kglad

the cc desktop app has to be up-to-date in order to display the latest programs.  ie, i don't believe an old cc desktop app will show the latest adobe programs.

and yes, the only programs displayed in the cc app are the one's compatible with your os (again, assuming you have the latest cc desktop app - which you currently do).

that's the most recent cc desktop app

cc 2018 are the most recent programs.  (but you must have an updated os to see these.)

using google is the best way (imo) to search adobe's website for info.

Thanks, kglad and I really appreciate for your prompt response with this query.

So what I understand is this desktop app is having all the different programs ( photoshop, illustrator, indesign etc)which we can install from here. Version of desktop app has nothing to do with the version of programs. cc desktop app facilities in managing the programs. Like, I have currently cc 2017, however if my operating system supports, I can upgrade my programs to cc 2018 using cc desktop app. Please confirm.
