Hallo
Vielen Dank

you mean activation in the past wasn't a problem, not that it's currently not a problem, correct?
if so, and you're having a problem downloading cs6, use a different browser.

No problem in the past (last time I had to re-install on another PC was Septemer 2023. No problem at all.)
Now I am able to download the two files and unpack them. But the installation wont work. After entering the Key, (which is approved) then the installation wont happen. As uploaded in the previous message I get a errormessage. See picture above.

I remember back then in the download there was a "download manager" included.
I dont really see it there.... maybe that is the issue?

use the alternative download links at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
to download and install the cc desktop app
then start the cs6 install

I will restart the computer and restart the process.
When I am through the whole thing I will come back here and publish if it worked (yeah) or if I am still looking for solutions.

HI, I checked the version of win 10 and the bits. Yes should be the right one (the latest 64 above 1903)
But It wont install either. I have to fill in the email, which I do, but then after clicking the button, no reaction at all. I tried several times. See screenshot.

you could try the automated install:
install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud

The automated worked! thank you!
Now, when I am looking for my CS6, I am redirected out of the creative cloud desktop app to the adobe website into my account, where my product is. But that doesnt seem to be the idea you suggested, right? You meant download from the creative cloud desktop app. But where can I find there my product? As said, I get redirected to the website.

I continued the research
So apparently the regluar download from my adobe account provides only 32bit versions. See Screenshot.
in the past I installed and run the cs6 on 64 bit PCs. Anyway I went ahead and looked up how to prepare this new set PC to run also 32bit Applications. I did all the steps needed (see screenshot) , restarted the pc and retried to install the previously from account downloaded CS6. I still get that window.
So, now I have my hopes that downloading my CS6 from the creative Cloud Desktop App, will bring the solution. But as mentioned above I cant find there my product. Unless I follow the redirection OUT of the CC App into the regular Adobe Account.

cs6 is a mixture of 32 bit and 64 bit apps. the installer is 32 bits.
and yes, the cc desktop app was to see if having it installed, would allow you to start set-up using compatibility mode (win 7) and bypass the browser issue.
change your default browser to chrome.
