Hallo
Vielen Dank

oh, also, if you started a cc subscription, make sure you explicitly cancel it within 7 days.

Hm. I don't have a subscription. Do I need one to download my product?
And if so, will I really be able to find my product in the app? It doesnt seem to be there...

no, you don't need to do anything with the cc desktop app other than have it installed and lurking in the background. don't do anything with it for fear that you start a trial of something (and that will automatically become a paid subscription). ie, if you're prompted for credit card info by adobe, beware - you're about to start something you may not want.

Ok, at this point I will do a lot to get my CS6 installed on my PC.
Lurking in the background, alright.
But the question is still " where is my cs6 on the cc app?" Any clicking on my account avatar redirects me to the website into my account.

it's not going be in the cc app.
it's not clear you've installed cs6. as far as i know, it's not installed. ie
change your default web browser to chrome
start cs6 setup using compatibility mode, win 7

Please see Screenshot.
I did what you said:
- Newest Chrome, as Default
- Comp Mod Win 7
- allows 32bit run
- cc App open while running setup
Result: Error Window as before

does the error message mention ms edge, again?

the error Message was never specific. Just the same each time no matter what I do.
Also I cant close the error(through the "x". I have to go open taskmanager and end the application.

your first post has an image that mentions ms edge. what is that saying?

...you mean this:
the yellow marked, was only me saying that I had the newest MS Edge. This was not reffering on the text of the pop up.
the Errormessage itself is the same as you can see in the image:

what's behind the foreground image?

I screenshotted that on purpose to "prove" that this was the newest MD Edge Version.
I wouldnt have been necessary to have that on the screenshot as well- Just wanted to give as much info as I found useful. But as you see, I did the Chrome default and the other things in my latest screenshot. Which also didnt change the result.

ok.
so, if you open the cc desktop app on your computer and click a link in it, it opens in chrome, correct?

well, I only was searching for my purchased products to get to the download. Which was redirecting me to my adobe account. If I click on a product link, say Indesign , then it opens in the app. There I could click and purchase it. And I just noticed, that when I open a Productlink and a new cc App Window opens, I cant close the window through the normal exit "x". Again I have to open the taskmanager and close the whole cc App.

I continued searching in the Adobe Help section
I found this page:
Beheben von Problemen beim Aktivieren oder Neuinstallieren älterer Adobe-Apps
But the sections to scan or copy the link are blurred.
Why on earth?
non of the provided links from Adobe Help that promise solution for installing CS6 actually lead to solutions. When I follow the link path, at the end its about the CC Apps not the CS6.
Please help

Again
I deleted all downloads from before.
Followed the steps exactly as instructed:
download .exe file, then -7z file while having the cc app open in the background and newest updated browsers (I did both chrome and MS Edge).
Win7 compatibilty mode
allowing 32 bit app to run
still getting the same identical errormessage

UPDATE: maybe -hopefully- one step closer.
the problem is the activation . not the installation!
By skipping the registration - but after tipping in the key - I was able to install the suite!
BUT:
I can´t use the programms, as I can´t register, when I open an application - > again same error window.
Now what?

if you continue to see update your browser message, in the cc app click your icon at the upper right > click privacy policy.
confirm that the page opens with a current chrome version

ok
the page that opens after clicking privacy policy is confusing. Where are those settings to allow that ?

Have you considered getting modern software that's compatible with newer equipment? You can download a free, 7-day trial of Creative Cloud. If after 7 days you don't like it, you can cancel and owe nothing.
Creative Cloud (Single & Bundled Apps & Services for mobile, web, desktop)

Hope that helps.
