I saw that Creative Suite is no longer available for purchase. Is it safe to order CD's on other websites such as Amazon, Ebay, etc.?

The problem with ordering ancient, outdated software such as CS6 from 3rd party vendors is that you've got no idea if

    1. the software on the disk is counterfeit, hack-free or virus-free apart from the credibility of the vendor and
    2. you've got no idea if the serial number which comes with the DVD is valid (i.e counterfeit) until you enter it when you install the software. If Adobe rejects it as an invalid serial number, your only recourse is to go back to the vendor for a refund with the shrinkwrap removed and the packaging opened which usually invalidates a refund. You could end up in a costly world of hurt chasing a refund.

    As always, caveat emptor.

Why Not to Buy Adobe Software on eBay, Craigslist or Amazon Mkt | ProDesignTools

Are you specifically avoiding the subscription route for a reason? What are your computer specs? Which Adobe software would you be using and for what purposes?

Adobe stopped selling CS6 this past January, so I doubt that a licensed vendor such as Amazon will still have any... and you have to be very wary of someone using Amazon as their store... I sometimes buy used books from a sub-vendor on Amazon, but I'm not sure that I would buy something like CS6

Even if it was an otherwise valid copy, you might be buying an OEM version that was originally sold to a company, so you could have problems getting the serial number registered

    John,

I have an older PC creative cloud keeps corrupting it and dragging my speed. I know this because every time that I remove it, my computer goes back to normal.
