Question

CS 5 standard installation DVDs - which is disc 1?

Hi there, can someone please tell me which of the two CS 5 installation DVDs is disc 1? One of them has the word 'content' on it and the other doesn't, but neither of them says Disc 1 or Disc 2.

I'm installing it into a Mac.

Another question please: is it possible to only install photoshop and not lightroom or indesign?

Thankyou very much in advance

... what concerns "is it possible to only install photoshop", you can download as said above from there

Download Adobe Creative Suite 5 products >>> Photoshop CS5, Photoshop CS5 Extended >>> Mac OS X

Hello,

my answer is specially adapted to (German) Windows and for CS4 (my next program ist CS 6), but I think you can use it in a similar way. Please use a file manager to see something like this:

Here the file to start CS4 is "autoplay.exe".

Thank you! But will I be able to download the programs without buying them

first? I've already paid for the cs 5 suite and don't want to have to pay

again?

Kind regards

Hi Janice,

If you use the download link you will receive the trial version, but it will convert to the full version as soon as you add the serial and activate-you won't need to buy anything. Since posting yesterday it has occurred to me the serial for the standalone apps may be different from the suite serial and so it may be better to download the CS5 Standard Suite not a standalone app and then use the installer to control which apps get installed-or if you prefer uninstall the ones you don't require but the normal method.
