CS3 Re Registration

I've spent the better part of two days trying to get the upgraded download for CS3.  Now that I have it, I tried to use it and got a message saying that I needed to re-register the program (PS, in this case).  When I went to do that, it said that it could not connect to the internet.  I went through all of the trouble shooting (yes ... including Java) and tried multiple times, using different browsers as my default,  I finally ended up clicking on "never register," and it seems to work just fine.  Here's my question, at some point will I get the same re-register message and have to do it again?

There is now no way to register CS3, so what you've done should work

For anyone else reading this message...

CS3 and Acrobat 8 activation server is retired see reply #1 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2372929

-you MUST use the special serial number AND the special installer you download, not your originals

-above includes a link to get the special version AND links to help with activation problems

-more information on activation problems with the new version https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2385900
