CS3 - replacement install (no activation)

I can no longer access my CS3 apps, because Adobe has turned off the activation server. This page:
https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/activation-fails-cs3-acrobat-8.html

Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8

has instructions for downloading a new installer, and gives a new serial number for the product.

I uninstalled CS3 as directed, restarted my machine, then ran the new installer. There was NO prompt for the new serial #. When I started Photoshop, it just gave me the same error message (that the activation server could not be reached). I still don't know what I'm supposed to do with the new serial number, and I don't understand why this new install is still looking for activation - according to the web page, it should no longer do that.

I waited four and half hours in the support chat queue to be told that they couldn't help me - even though it's their fault for turning off the activation server and having incorrect information on what they called the 'self-help' page.

Do I sound frustrated and angry? You betcha! I've lost a whole day of production to this issue, stuck without Photoshop.

Still, I like to be optimistic - has anyone else come across this issue, and does anyone know how I can get my trusty CS3 working again?

All answers appreciated!

It's 2022, CS3 is no longer supported.

Do you know where is file host where I can get the no activation installer for CS3?

Or perhaps a patch?

Thanks!

There isn't one. The patch is no longer available. CS3 is dead and gone. You'll either need to subscribe to the new Adobe products or find equivalents that you can do a one-time purchase of.
