CS4 error 150:30 with Yosemite

New Here ,
Mar 15, 2015 Mar 15, 2015

Hello

I've tried everything all 9 "solutions" here: Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS

including a reinstall of Yosemite. Nothing works.

I have the Adobe CS4 cds, with box and serial numbers, one computer running it... etc

Please help!

I really hope that's not true... some people have said it still works.

I'm working on the same sort of problem...

Some people say their CS4 still works on 10.10, so I'm trying to make it work.

Apparently, migrating/restoring from a backup is something adobe doesn't like, so it either gets scrambled or deauthorizes your computer.

Did you uninstall CS4 this way?

Like Gener7 said:

Uninstall, check Remove Preferences

Do a Repair Permissions from Disk Utility

Reinstall from discs, and if you do not have them, download from here:

Download CS4 products

(Updates here:)

Adobe - Photoshop : For Macintosh

Or try what they suggest here:

150:30

Oh, and make sure everything's updated.

Hope that helps!

I have OS X 10.10.3 and had upgraded from 10.9 and migrated to a new sad hard drive since using CS4. On opening PS I got error: 150:30. Just downloading & reinstalling CS4 worked for me. PS (what I use most) works fine. I didn't even have to uninstall the old, migrated CS4 program files.

Edward,

CS6 was extensively tested, but I'm not sure about older versions. See this hepful link:

scroll down and see some of the FAQ's.
