How can I obtain a license for new MacPro?

I purchased two licenses One is installed on PC.

Just recently purchased MacPro.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks for replying. I must not be explaining myself well.

I originally purchased the Master Suite CS5 with two

system installations. At the time I had a PC and was

going to purchase a Mac. This didn't happen until

this month when I finally purchased a MacPro.

I explained this to the support help and when I

received the original DVDs, the installations were only

for PC.

A few days ago I installed the Master Collection on the MacPro. Upon

completion a serial number was requested. I entered

the number and it was of course not valid.

I installed it as a trial version.

I went through many errors and requests.

Error: "install" can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

The one problem that had me going around was the request to:

"Please close all of the following applications to continue:

Safari Notifications kept on the desktop. The request was to turn

off notifications for an application.

Eventually I used the help menu and used the system preferences which removed the applications

except one: Safari Notifications.

Eventually, I was helped by a tech who said you have to use the ACTIVITY MONITOR.

Please advise with this new information.  Thank You for your help and consideration

because I am new to this new machine. But, so far I am happy that I finally made

this purchase. It's pricey, but most people use the Mac.

I am hoping this assists with my career change.

if you do not have a mac license, you can't install and activate the mac version and adobe no long offers platform swaps for cs5.5.

Thanks for your insight and assistance. That was probablythe worse news for me this week. But, it is what it is asthe expression goes.

I hope down the road to be able to install adobe products

on my new MACPRO. I've been getting into that garageband.Glad to finally get a path into the Mac world.
