What "patch"? You need to be aa lot more specific and also provide system information as well as a description of what you have actually done and what doesn't seem to work...

In Response To Mylenium

Running photoshop cs5 12.0. Downloaded the the update 12.0.4 as I was having a problem with system crashes when using type tool. The application downloads okay but does not respond when I try to open it.Also the updates tab in photoshop itself not responding. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Any help would be greatly appreciated
