CS6 installer failed to initialize.

Hello, I get the following error while trying to installed Illustrator CS6: "Installed failed to initialized. This could be due to a missing file. Please download Support Advisor to detect the problem".

As has been mentioned on past forums posts, Support Advisor has been discontinued. The advice was to get Creative Cloud Cleaner instead. When I run CC cleaner, it just says there are no sessions to delete. I do not see an Adobe manager in my Utilities.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Priyas2361606,

As you have mentioned you are unable to install Adobe CS6 because it fails with an error message "Installed failed to initialize. This could be due to a missing file. Please download the Support Advisor to detect the problem".

Are you trying to install Adobe CS6 on a Mac machine with macOS 10.12 or above? If yes, then please try doing that by following the workaround given here: Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra).

Let us know if this helps.
