CS6 - Licence Key Blocked

Our licence key has been blocked for CS6, I have spoken to support and they say that apparently you post it on here now and a senior tech will pick it up. Lets hope! A whole school without a key because Adobe don’t support the product any more, I can understand product updates etc but not supporting keys they have sold as ever lasting is silly.

CS6 is 12+ year old software.  It's way beyond it's "replace me" date.  I'm sorry but nobody in this user-to-user community or Adobe Customer Support can help you with outdated, unsupported software.

If I am honest i beg to differ.  I appreciate its 12 years old but still works as an install. I am not expecting Adobe to develop the software anymore or to update it in any way ...... just to maintain the license key purchased at a large cost form then in 2015. I wouldn’t think that was so hard to ask? 

As an education establishment which have repeatedly had budgets cut, do you really think that we can go from a one off payment of 10K in 2015 to a £12,250 per year to teach the national curriculum?  

Personally i think Adobe have priced themselves out the education market and i am not the only one that thinks that. 

I would expect them if they can "block" a key to be able to unblock it as the mechanism is there. As the apple key we have isnt blocked.

What Apple keys? Apple does not have any keys. When you buy a Mac it has Mac OS and you can upgrade it.

But to your topic, are you buying educational licenses of the software and talking with an institutional sales rep or are you trying to price retail versions? https://www.adobe.com/education.html .
