CS6 update

I purchased PS CS6 and it installed corectly and ran OK.  I then purchased PS CC it installed and ran OK.  The CC App said I needed to update PS CS6. During the download of the CS6 update got the message Error during installation error no U44M1P7 and PS CS6 no longer runs.  What do I need to do to update CS6 correctly
