De-activating and Re-activating CS3

I recently purchased a new computer and I want to transfer my Adobe CS3 from my old computer to the new one. I de-activated the software on my old computer however when I go to register it by entering the serial number on Adobe's website on my new computer it still says that the product is already registered. How can I register CS3 on my new computer?
