Difference between Creative Cloud Photography plan and Single App plan.

New Here ,

I have a single app plan for Adobe Photoshop CC which is $19.99 a month. I see there is a Creative Cloud Photography plan that comes with Photoshop CC and Lightroom CC for $9.99 a month. What is the difference between the two Photoshops in each plan?

There is none except for the licensing and pricing model.

Hi, May I ask a question? I just clicked above link and find both Photoshop Photography Program and Creative Cloud Photography Plan are the same price. However, Photoshop Photography Program has 18GB storage more than Creative Cloud Photography. Am I missed anything? Thanks, Isaac

Hi Isaac

The Photoshop Photography plan is no longer available to purchase and was replaced by the Creative Cloud Photography plan.

Hope that clarifies matters.

Kind regards

Bev

So just for my own clarification, The photography plan and photoshop cc use the same photoshop app? Not a minimal version like Photoshop elements?

Same Photoshop in both.

Photoshop Elements is not included in any Cloud plans.

Hi all,

maybe I’ve arrived too late, this is a very old thread.. anyway, now prices have been uodated, plans are about 12/month for LR + PS (photography plan) and 24/montg for only PS (single app plan).

My question is: why someone who needs PS should choose the 24/month plan??? It makes no sense from my point of view....Am I missing something?

It's marketing hype.

Hi Peru Bob,

thanks for your reply, but honestly I don’t understand where’s marketing here...I think everyone would choose the photography plan which has 2 apps at half price... is there any other difference between 2 plans that can justify the price diff?

Adobe makes the special photography plan only for people who want to use Photoshop and/or Lightroom

The programs are exactly the same, only the cost is different

The single-app Photoshop plan doesn't include Lightroom but it does give you the full version of Adobe Fresco as well as the premium version of Creative Cloud Express, plus more online cloud storage.

It also can be purchased month-to-month, whereas the Photography plans cannot.

This plan comparison table should make everything clearer.

Customers usually find one of the three Photography-related plans to be of better value – but it definitely depends on your needs.
