You sent me a link to enable me to install a version pf photoshop elements for which I have a serial number. I tried to do that yesterday and was asked if I wanted Universal English or International English. I have never heard those descriptions and don't know which to choose. Please help me decide. I am an American. Will there be any other questions I will be asked during the download/installation process?

The serial numbers are different for different languages, hence while installing the product it confirms the language.
I have reviewed your Adobe ID (email) and found that all the Photoshop Elements purchases you have done are of 'Universal English' language, please select the same while installing.
Apart from this, you may be asked to select the installation location, which is auto-set to the default location and you do not need to make any changes there.
