Do I need to be connected to the internet to use Photoshop CC?
Hi harveydent1,
No. Your Creative Cloud desktop applications (such as Adobe® Photoshop® and Illustrator®) are installed directly on your computer, so you won't need an ongoing Internet connection to use them on a daily basis.
An Internet connection is required the first time you install and license your desktop apps, but you can use the apps in offline mode with a valid software license. The desktop apps will attempt to validate your software licenses every 30 days.

For annual members, you can use the apps for up to 99 days in offline mode. Month-to-month members can use the software for up to 30 days in offline mode.
Thanks

The internet connection is required once in 90 days to keep the subscription active & update it too as CC is updated which is quite frequently.

No, This isn't correct. Fix your bug. I can't work offline and I can't work on an airplane because y'all keep requiring an internet connection constantly. This needs to be fixed immediately. We pay for this.

Hi @htcole,
If you are facing issues, try disabling things like your firewall(network/laptop), or virus scanners. They might be messing with the application connection to the servers or deleting/modifying the files that store the status of the subscription locally. In case of more targetted help please contact support.

because if the questioner had signed in (while online) they should be able to go offline and remain signed in. if going offline triggers a problem it suggests there was a problem when they were online and trying to sign in.
and this thread is years old with the most recent post (other than yours and mine) from last year.

Yes you do sadly. Adobe apps ask me to sign in almost everytime I open them...at least a few times a week. I learned the hard way that its pointless trying to work in a remote location or on an airplane...I wish they fixed this. Almost grounds for a lawsuit honestly but who has the energy to fight a large corporation.
