Hello,
My nephew mainly uses an opensource editing suite. He doesn't do this professionally, just for a hobby / fun. However, a few times a year he does get the one month sub for 75 dollars.
The gentleman who owned an office next to mine recently passed, and while helping his widow clean out a file cabinet we found a manila envelope with several 3 month subscription cards in the bottom, underneath an actual drawer.
An email from the Amazon order was also in the envelope. He ordered them on Amazon in 2013, though the cards themselves list 04/12 (manufacture date?). The scratch off area is still intact, and she offered to sell them to me for a great deal.
I am thinking I could scoop them up and give them to my nephew, he could either redeem one every few months and actually have a few years worth of subscription or just redeem one when he needs it and avoid the 75 dollars.
So, if 4/12 is indeed when they were made they are a few months shy of 5 years old, 3.5 years since he bought them on Amazon. Keep in mind if my nephew decides to only redeem say 2 a year then the stack in that envelope would last him almost 5 years which upon redeeming the last card would put them at over 10 years since manufacture lol
Obviously if the cards do not expire I will buy every last one she found, but I figured I should ask beforehand.
1. Do the cards expire?
2. Let's say he wanted to go ahead and use adobe long term, could he redeem all the cards at once? Is there a limit on how many prepaid cards he can use?
Thank you for your time,
Scott
Just thought I would update this.
His wife trusted me since I had rented the office next to her husband for over a decade and so she told me to give them to my nephew and pay her what he thought they were worth as he used them, that way if Adobe stopped supporting them he wasn't out the money. Her husband had paid around 36 per month on average, obviously he received a better price on the 3 month cards vs the 1 month cards. I think my nephew and her agreed on 20 per month he was able to use th

Hello!
I would be really interested in that, too, as I have a similar question!
I've bought a 12 months prepaid key card at Amazon last month for the Photography Plan (Lightroom and Photoshop); activation and everything worked perfectly.
Now my question is: from time to time Amazon sells these 12 months prepaid card for a really good price. If I see such an offer and buy it, would it be possible to activate this new key only if the 12 months periode from my first prepaid licence is over? Or will these prepaid card expire sometime?
Thank you so much in advance!
Best regards,
Julia

You should ask Amazon as they sell the cards.

If the cards are from Amazon, you should really contact Amazon and ask them. Also, every prepaid card I've ever had actually had an expiration date listed on it, so make sure you inspect the cards

My nephew has now used every prepaid card. About 21 months worth. He was originally going to ration them out as he prefers his opensource suite and only needs adobe periodically. However in the end he figured that he better use them before adobe quit supporting them.
As far as expiration dates, the prepaid cards did NOT have any. As mentioned above in the original post, the only date on them was 04 /12, and seeing how the old man hadn't bought them till 2013 it was obviously not an expiry date.
Also I had already contacted Amazon prior to my original post, Amazon doesn't really know anything about a manufacturers product that the manufacturer doesn't GIVE them in the first place. They advised me to contact adobe
I doubt this is an issue anymore and the thread could probably be deleted because I don't think adobe makes physical gift cards anymore.
