Does CCS for students come with everything?

Question

I am about to purchase a year's subscription to the Creative Cloud Suite for students (I am a film student). I noticed that the Creative Cloud Suite has a list of "featured" apps, but it does not include some of the apps that I am interested in, such as After Effects, Character Animator, and other Animation / story-building apps. Does the student cc plan give me access to ANY apps I want to use (even the ones not listed), or does it only include a limited selection of apps?

Any thoughts on the cost of purchasing the suite, vs individually purchasing the apps that I need?

As far as I know, the only difference is a special price for education Adobe creative desktop apps | Adobe Creative Cloud

The student edition is only a reduced price edition. The rest is the same.
