That MAY be a false error message due to Mac El Capitan and OLD programs

This information is a MUST DO to install old programs on Mac El Capitan

-you may not get the same error message, but these some links that MAY help with old programs

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

I can open all my programs but when i am in illustrator and try to use the eye drop tool the program crashes. So I went to the Adobe icon for updates and sure enough illustrator needed to be updated along with other design programs. So I tried to update them but after it tried a window poped up saying all the programs failed to update and to close the window and try again. So I did. Same thing happend again and again. I restarted my computer and even tried diffrent Internet.

Then I contacted Adobe and they said to try and uninstall the programs and then reinstall them. So I tried one program and got a notification that said disc was scratched and to remove it but I was downloading from the Web not a disck. Tried one more time with another program and same outcome. So now I lost 2 of my programs because I have Uninstalled like adobe said.

All I need is for my programs to work and to be able to have them back. Any thoughts or help?

If your programs were working correctly BEFORE El Capitan and they are not working AFTER... I think you have your own answer

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated to run on Mac El Capitan

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

I believe the programs were running correctly after I up dated. Just all of a sudden my illustrator program was acting up. I try to use the eye drop tool and illustrator crashes.

Also, when I try to upgrade my cs5 programs it fails and says to close the program and try again later. Something is telling me it's not the computer it's the programs. Any advice or thoughts?
