I just upgraded my 2011 MacBook Pro to a 2014 MacBook Pro. After migrating my apps and user files, an notification popped up that I had to upgrade Creative Cloud. I did that, and logged in. When I click on the Apps tab, I get the above error message.

So what's the problem and how do I fix it.

Thanks

Bill

Problems usually arise when you migrate Adobe programs.  You should install Adobe applications, not migrate them. Uninstall using the Cleaner Tool and reinstall.

Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

That didn't work at all.

1. I deleted Creative Cloud, Bridge CC, and Photoshop CC.

2. I downloaded the Creative Cloud Desktop, as before

3, Ran the setup and the program crashed.

4. So now I don't have a working copy of Bridge CC or Photoshop CC and I can't get any work done.

Any more ideas?

Nope that didn't work either.

  1. deleted AAMUpdater folder under   ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ (still got error)
  2. deleted opm.db under ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE (still get error)

(I also tried just renaming opm.db. and still got error. )

What next?
