trying to download PS cc to my new laptop but get a download error message to try again 49

it seems that PS installed but the filters popup menus will not come up?

    Open Temp folder.

    Clear the Temp folder content.

    Disable your computer Firewall and Antivirus for sometime.

    Launch CC Desktop and try downloading Apps.

    I have carried out the recommendations as per the advice given above and still have the same problem.  I am trialing photoshop at the moment and have not been able to use it yet!!  So far quite a frustrating experience

    HewettG do you have sufficient disk space on your primary drive?  Error 49 indicates there was file write failure to a critical directory.

      Apictures did you receive any specific installation errors?  I would recommend reviewing your installation log files for the specific errors which you may have encountered.  Please see Troubleshoot install issues with log files | CC - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cc.html for information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files.  You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.
