Downloading Illustrator to multiple devices

Hello, does anyone know how I can install Illustrator on more than one device?  I purchased Illustrator yesterday and have downloaded it to my Windows PC but now I also want to use it on my laptop. The sales support person told me before I bought it that I would be able to install it on both my PC and my Laptop but I'm not sure how to do that as previously I have tried to install on more than one device but have been blocked from doing so. Any tips?  Thanks in advance.  Nicky
