downloading lightroom 6 to my MacBook pro 2012

hi there,

I've just purchased lightroom 6 software download card recently and wanted to download it on to my MacBook pro however it is not allowing me to do so.

please can you advise me what should i do ? i thought a 2015 edition would be ok to use on my MacBook pro 2012?

Nevermind, i didnt realise i had to download the creative cloud in order to install lightroom on the macbook pro. Thank you for replying
