Question

downloading LR 5.2 and have creative cloud recognize it

To be clear, I have a computer I can not physically move from a remote location  where I have a landline only and do not want to tie up that line for long  download times. Therefore I need to have a solution where I can download with  high speed internet connection at one location and tranport the disk or thumb  drive to my remote lcoation for installation or updates. If this is not possible  then it will not solve my problem.

having said that i need to download LR5.2 ( which i have done to a thumb drive) and install it ,and have the creative cloud recognize it....is this possible? i have ps cc installed and have a single app license and my creative cloud says i have LR to install but it wants to download it...

Hi bill3343,

You can download Lightroom 5 from the diect download links available at http://prodesigntools.com/lightroom-5-ddl-comparison-vs-lr4.html

But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download.

Once you download the required setup file, you can save it to a flash drive and then install it on the remote machine.

To license the software you need to use you Adobe ID and your Creative Cloud subscription will be recognised via your Adobe ID.

While activating there will be 2 options when you click license this software - serial number or license with Adobe ID.

You neeed to select the latter and enter your Adobe ID when prompted.

no go on the 2 options just the lone serial number boxes thats it ..no adobe id option
