Question

Downloading Photoshop CC not possible, long, incomprehensible (to me) error message.

I am using Windows 7 on a desktop computer. I purchased the photography package. Following the instructions in this forum, after installing the Creative Cloud desktop app I changed the default installation location for apps so as not to crowd my C: drive to the existing Adobe folder on my 😧 drive. Lightroom Classic installed to my 😧 drive no problem. However, when I attempted to install Photoshop classic I got this error message:

Exit Code: 146

-------------------------------------- Summary --------------------------------------

- 2 fatal error(s), 0 error(s), 1 warnings(s)

FATAL: Error (Code = 146) executing in command 'MoveFileCommand' for package: 'AdobeColorCommonSetCMYK_1_0-mul', version:1.0.4

FATAL: Error occurred in install of package (Name: AdobeColorCommonSetCMYK_1_0-mul Version: 1.0.4). Error code: '146'

Try setting correct permissions to the specified file/folder or parent folder, so that admin has rights to modify it.

Can someone decipher this for me, please.

Thank you for the reference, Mr. Waller. I was able to download PS to my D: drive. I first tried the manual download option as that has solved this problem for me previously, but it did not work this time. I then deactivated the security software I had running and was able to complete the download via Creative Cloud.
