Hi, I have been trying to download a trial version of CC 2017 but cannot get beyond the progress wheel - this has been spinning for well over 30 minutes now. What are the issues and how do I install CC 2017? Thanks Sabu Singh

Hi Atul,,

I am inclined to believe it is the internet connection. After uninstalling CC and premier pro etc, I have tried to use the link provided by you.

It is showing download time of 5 hrs for 1.3GB.

I use a Windows 8 OS.

Is it possible for you to share your mobile no? I am currently in Himachal and will need to get to a broadband connection to sort this out.

Thanks for your help.

You are welcome Sabu, it looks like network connection is the culprit here and unfortunately, the alternate network seems to be the only option here, you can try hotspot from your phone if that helps.

In order to contact us please utilize this link: -Contact Customer Care and make sure you are signed in to Adobe.com with the Adobe ID which has got the subscription. Feel free to update this discussion in case you need further assistance, we would be happy to help.

Hi Sabu,

Looking that the description it seems that you encountered a spinning wheel on Creative Cloud which is why you are unable to download the Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017. I am hoping that you have tried Davidarbor's suggestion and it worked for you. Just in case you need further assistance with this, I would request you to follow the steps mentioned on this link: -Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't open or shows a spinning progress wheel and share the results.

Thanks Davidarbor for moving this thread to the correct community, much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Atul,

I have tried again after uninstalling Creative cloud. Unfortunately I am facing the same issue again. The spinning wheel does not stop spinning.

Could it be because I am using a dongle as there is no broadband where I am presently.

Thanks

Hi Sabu,

Well, this could be a possibility, the intermittent connection is something which can lead to this situation. You can certainly try a different network to test this out.

Other than this I have one more suggestion for you, please try to download Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 using this direct download link: - Download Creative Cloud apps so that you may at least get going with your projects and we can continue to troubleshoot Creative Cloud desktop app.

Once you are done installing Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2017 using direct download link, try to create a new admin user account and try to install Adobe Creative Cloud using this link: - Download Creative Cloud desktop app. Please share your OS version so that we may assist you appropriately in case you need further assistance.

Thanks.

I'm moving this to the Creative Cloud Download & Install forum, since it's not really a Premiere issue. Have you simply tried restarting your computer? Do other apps aside from Premiere install ok? You could also try uninstalling and reinstalling the Creative Cloud app.
