Error 116? Can't download trial version of Premiere Pro.

Hello everyone.

I just decided to try the 2017 trial version of Premiere Pro. I went on Creative Cloud, and clicked the 'Try' button on Premiere Pro.

All is going fine until around 47%, when it just says !Download Error. I figured that maybe it was a connection issue. I restarted the wifi adapter and tried again. Same thing, almost at 50% and it shows the error.

Fair enough, I try rebooting my computer and trying again. Still didn't work.

I know that I haven't downloaded Premiere Pro's trial version on this computer before, so the possibility of me already getting my one month was scratched.

I clicked on the 'Learn more', and it says Fatal Error: 116. I go search it up, and find out that my security measures might be the issue. Alright, that's a common security precaution, I can deal with it. So I turn off Avast and my windows firewall. I tried again and it still does't work!

I have downloaded trial versions of Flash and Ps on here before, and the installation went smoothly. I'm totally at a loss, and my project is due in 2 weeks.

Does anyone know what I should do?

Does your computer meet the minimum specifications?

try a direct download:

Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

Thanks kglad!

Before I start the download, I'm just wondering about what it says when I click Adobe Premiere Elements 15. It says that you have to have your serial number to complete installation, but I just need the trial version for now. Will downloading still give me a free trial?

if you don't have a serial number, you'll install a 7 day trial.

but premiere elements is not the same as premiere pro so you're discussing two different programs in this thread.
