Please help with a problem when updating Photoshop:

Getting the following message when trying to install Illustrator 2015: Exit Code 184

To resolve error 184 when installing some Adobe 2024 software packages, e.g. After Effects, Media Encoder, Premiere, etc., simply delete the following directory:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CoreSyncExtension\

If the "CoreSync_x64.dll" or "CoreSync_x86.dll" files are in use unlock them and delete them using an unlocking program such as "IOBIT Unlocker" (free).
