Error 205 for updating or downloading Creative Cloud

My update or download stucks at one point and gives error 205. I tried every possible solution in the forums and other parts of the internet. I talked with customer support too. Direct download isn't working either, because it is the older version (4.7)

Strangest part is, this happens again and again. I can download or update without a problem and suddenly, i can't. This happens with other adobe apps too. It happened on my old computer too. So, it can't be a hardware, install, antivirus etc. problem.

I really need a solution to this, because i can't finish my work without my libraries.

Ps: It is a personal network.

Mii, I am sorry to hear that.  You mentioned you were connected to your own personal network.  Please verify you are also able to connect to the ports and servers listed in Adobe Creative Cloud Network Endpoints .

I have cc 4.7.0.400

Because cc can't uptade, it isn't logging me to library services of cc.

Mii, sorry for the inconvenience but version 4.8.0.421 is a mandatory release of the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.  It is currently in the process of being rolled out worldwide.

Error 205 occurs because there was a problem downloading the required files.  If you have previously had to rely on local installation files to update the Creative Cloud desktop app then I would recommend you focus on any installed anti-virus software that may be preventing the download process from completing.  You can find more steps on how to resolve Error 205 at Creative Cloud download and install errors .
