Hello All,

I recently restored my Mac from my timemachine backup. I had removed my Adobe software from the backup plan because I figured I would just re-install it if I ever needed to restore my Mac.

After restoring my Mac I tried to install CS5 from DVD. I received some errors (long gone now as I have tried installing 10-20 times since then). As it stands now, I am receiving this error during the beginning of the installation:

- 0 fatal error(s), 1 error(s), 0 warning(s)

ERROR: ARP Entry couldn't be created for language : en_US

Exit Code: 7 - Unable to complete Silent workflow

I have some log entries if that would be helpful. I have been searching for solutions but have yet to find it. I have  run the un-installer, tried to install in safe mode, tried to un-install/re-install Adobe Air, and tried to run the adobe cleaner. Nothing has helped.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi logart00,

Please follow the kb: http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/errors-exit-code-6-exit.html for Exit code 7 and try installing again.

Try to download CS5 from the direct link: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html .

Kindly follow the very important instructions before download.

Regards,

Romit Sinha
